Memphis International Raceway

Memphis International Raceway is up and running for a new year. This year's events include the Super Chevy Show, Test n' Tune Thursday and Saturday nights, drag racing, and more. They have teamed up with a new director and Marketing/sales director and will hopefully get a revamp of the road course in soon.

The Scion FT-S is coming...

The Scion FT-S is coming to be the new Toyota draft/race car. The price tag comes in around $25k with destination charges for a base model and about a $2k jump for the premium model and more for the convertable in the mix. Toyota has confirmed a supercharger in the mix, but it is unknown whether it'll come as an accessory or part of a TRD Package. While Toyota is clinging to the supercharger, the Subaru variant BRZ will go with a turbocharger, probably for a 2014 model. Both have an extensive list of accessories through STI/TRD. Measurement sessions have been done to help with afternmarket support for the car when launched. Will it be a decent replacement for racers with MR2's? We'll have to wait and see...

Bartlett Shows

Every Thursday (in nice weather) Classic Chevy club along with other clubs meet up every week. This event is moving to the Stage Malco Theater parking lot behind Danvers.
